Our Group follows the Scouts Canada program for badgework that ultimately leads to the chief scout award. The program details are detailed in the Canadian Scout Handbook, published and distributed by Scouts Canada and may also be found on the following Scouts Canada webpage.

Through badgework we learn new skills like how to tie knots, and how to do first aid. In cubs, the many knots that we learn are: the reef knot, the sheep bend, the bowline, the round turn and two half hitches, the clove hitch, the fisherman’s knot. To learn how to do these knots you can click on the name of the knot to see how it is done.
