Registration Fees collected annually are typically paid towards the overhead of Scouts Canada and to the schoolboard as permit fees for use of the school.

Camper Fees typically cover the cost of the camps on a break-even budget basis.

Other expenses such as the Christmas Holiday Event and the End-of-Year family picnic, any special trips, and other miscelaneous expenses are covered by group fundraising activities as follows on an as needed basis.

Scout Apple Day is an annual weekend event in October for scout groups all across Canada in which the youth solicit donations in exchange for a nice crisp apple. This is generally conducted, with permission, just outside various commercial establishments in our area.

Scouts Canada also organizes an annual popcorn sales drive and a Scouttrees Planting Day sponsored by donations from the public, both of which events this Group is a sometimes participant.

This year in early May we will hold a giant garage sale, trying to repeat the success that the Group enjoyed with such an event a couple years ago. Please save and contribute any saleable goods and do stop by to purchase items of interest.
